NNC 2024 Reception

For those of you who arrive Bergen early, we invite you to the NNC 2024 conference venue Grieghallen for a 1 hour informal get together with some light food and refreshments. Meet up with friends and colleagues and pick up your NNC 2024 name badge on the eve of the conference.
NNC 2024 City of Bergen Reception

The Major of Bergen invites all NNC 2024 participants to the Haakons’ Hall for the official Welcome to Bergen Reception on June 17th.
The impressive stone building of the Haakon's Hall was erected during the reign of King Haakon Haakonsson between 1247 and 1261. It was the largest and most imposing building of the royal residency in the 13th-century when Bergen was the political centre of Norway. Situated in the centre of Bergen, near the famous Bryggen Wharf, the Haakons’s Hall will open its doors for the NNC 2024 attendees at 19:00hrs.
The NNC 2024 City of Bergen Reception takes place from 19:00 to 20:00. Light food service and beverages will be offered.
Join Us for a 5 km Morning Run through Beautiful Bergen!
Start the 2nd conference day with a refreshing 5 km run through the breathtaking scenery of Bergen! Lace up your running shoes and enjoy the stunning views of fjords, mountains, and historic streets as we embark on a memorable morning adventure.

NNC 2024 Conference Dinner
June 18th 2024. 19:00hrs to 23:00hrs
The hundred year old restaurant on top of Mount Fløyen is completely renovated and open its doors again in March 2024 and we are thrilled to invite the participants to experience and dine “On The Roof Top of Bergen” at the Mt Floien Restaurant
The restaurant is accessed via the most popular attraction in Bergen – the famous funicular. A 10 minutes stroll from the conference venue Grieghallen, you arrive at the Floien Funicular station, where you will be able to experience the thrilling funicular ride up the steep mountain side, to the top of mount Floien. The ride takes some 4 minutes.
Meet at the funicular station by 18:45 to receive your return funicular ticket there from our secretariat crew.
The dinner venue for the evening will hence be situated 320 meters (1050 ft) above sea level and the view of Bergen and the surrounding fjord area is purely breathtaking! The group will walk the 200 metres to the restaurant .
The restaurant is located in a beautiful and elegant building and do truly offer unrivalled view of the city of Bergen. You will really find it difficult not to fall in love with this town, after a visit to Mount Fløien!
After dinner, the funicular will take you back down the mountain to the city centre.
All NNC 2024 participants who have purchased this dinner will have this indicated on their name badge.
